• Hospital-based outbreak investigation tools (including pathogen-specific preparedness planning)

• Educational modules, brochures, handouts for healthcare providers, patients, and general public

• Remote antimicrobial stewardship program support (via telephone or video conferencing)

Research & Quality Improvement

Involved in research and quality improvement projects related to the reduction of healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial stewardship. Provide expertise in the review of research protocols related to infection prevention, immunizations, healthcare epidemiology, and clinical infectious diseases.

Provide education in many formats and venues...from a small team of Infection Preventionists to a large national conference audience.  Topics include healthcare-associated infection prevention, immunization advocacy, antimicrobial stewardship and antibiotic resistance. Formats include:
